Saving Boobies at Keystone.

This past Saturday, Shay Will, Mike Clarke and I ventured up to Keystone to support the K2 Pink Chase Breast Cancer Awareness fundraiser. Michelle Parker was there, doing her part. Even though she can’t ski, she was handing out stickers to the race participants. But we got a first hand account from her, and rehab is going well. She even showed us her newly reintroduced jogging skills. Go, Parker!

Over $30,000 was raised to benefit breast cancer research and more than 30 ladies from the Colorado area donned appropriate apparel and braved the freezing cold, windy elements.

Clarke and I hung out in the park. Clarke working on his Dew Tour run and me working on my no-falling-on-boxes skills. Shay and Steele worked on their tall-boy-drinking skills. They’re getting pretty good.

On the way home, Clarke serenaded us with some Britney Spears. Shaywill.com has the video.

Here and there: Michigan to Colorado.

As you all know (well, the two or three of you who read this blog) I went to Michigan for a while over the Thanksgiving holiday. Also, as of late, I have been doing a bit of skiing here in Colorado. One thing my home in Michigan and my home here in Colorado share is breathtaking sunsets. I snapped a couple of photos with my point and shoot and my iPhone which to be sure, don’t do the scenery justice. But not to fear, the Magic 8 Ball told me a DSLR is in my near future. So, hopefully soon these photos will be much more stunning. In the meantime, enjoy a few mediocre shots of my past week.
